Content Calendar
Plan a full week of posts with AI-generated concepts, captions, and visual briefs
The content calendar is where your content strategy becomes a concrete plan. The AI generates a full week (or two) of posts — each with a concept, visual descriptions, caption, and hashtags — distributed across your content pillars.
Generating a calendar
Navigate to the Content tab. If no calendar exists, you'll see the calendar settings panel.
Configure settings
| Setting | Options | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Duration | 1 week / 2 weeks | How many weeks of content to plan |
| Posts per week | 1-21 | Total posts per week (auto-distributed across days) |
| Post type mix | Static / Carousel / Video % | Ratio of post types (sliders that sum to 100%) |
Click Generate Calendar to create the plan. Generation takes 30-60 seconds depending on the number of posts.
Understanding the calendar
Timeline view
Posts are grouped by day of the week. Each post shows:
- Pillar emoji and name — which content pillar it belongs to
- Concept — the core idea of the post
- Post type badge — Static, Carousel, or Video
- Status dot — gray (draft), green (ready to post)
Click any post to expand and see the full details.
Grid view
Toggle to grid view for a more compact overview of the entire week. Useful for scanning the content mix at a glance.
Editing posts
Expand any post to edit its content. Posts have two detail tabs:
Visual Brief tab
Contains the visual description(s) for the post — what the image should look like. Static posts have one description; carousel posts have one per slide.
- Edit descriptions directly in the text areas
- Add or remove carousel slides with the + and x buttons
- Click Generate Image on any description to send it to the Studio
Caption & Tags tab
- Caption — the Instagram caption text
- Hashtags — add/remove hashtags individually
- Pinned comment — text for the first comment (common Instagram strategy)
Managing posts
Reorder posts
Drag posts using the grip handle on the left to reorder within a day or move between days.
Add posts manually
Click the + button next to any day header to add a blank post.
Regenerate posts
Click Regenerate on any post to have the AI create a new version. Use the feedback button to provide direction: "make it more seasonal" or "focus on the morning routine angle."
Change post type
In the expanded view, use the post type dropdown to switch between Static, Carousel, and Video. Changing to Carousel adds additional visual description slots.
Delete posts
Click the trash icon. Confirm the deletion — this cannot be undone.
Saving the calendar
Click Save Calendar in the top-right to persist all changes. The save icon shows an indicator when you have unsaved changes.
Tips
- Generate first, edit second. Let the AI create the initial plan, then refine the concepts and captions to match your voice.
- Watch the pillar distribution. If one pillar dominates, adjust pillar frequencies in Settings.
- Use the feedback loop. When regenerating a post, always provide a reason — "the concept overlaps with Monday's post" gives better results than just clicking regenerate.
- Save frequently. Unsaved calendar changes are lost if you navigate away.
