Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you use the product. Inflova uses a minimal set of cookies to provide a functional and improving experience.

2. Cookies We Use

We use two categories of cookies:

Essential Cookies

These are required for Inflova to function and cannot be disabled.

  • Supabase auth session — maintains your login session so you stay authenticated as you navigate the app. These are set by Supabase and are strictly necessary for the service to work.
  • Cookie consent preference — remembers whether you have accepted or declined analytics cookies so we don't ask you again on every visit.

Analytics Cookies (consent required)

These cookies are only activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie consent banner.

  • Google Analytics — collects anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, and general interaction patterns to help us understand how the product is used.
  • PostHog — collects anonymous product analytics including feature usage and navigation patterns to help us improve the user experience.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Google Analytics and PostHog set their own cookies on your device when analytics consent is granted. These cookies are governed by the respective privacy policies of each provider:

We do not control how these third parties handle the data collected through their cookies.

4. How Long Cookies Last

Cookies on Inflova fall into two duration categories:

  • Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser. The Supabase auth cookies use short-lived access tokens that are refreshed automatically while your session is active.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period. Your cookie consent preference is stored persistently so it carries across sessions. Google Analytics cookies typically persist for up to 2 years, and PostHog cookies for up to 1 year.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can change your analytics cookie preferences at any time using the button below. This will update your consent and enable or disable analytics cookies accordingly.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent Inflova from functioning correctly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify users of significant changes via the app.

7. Contact

If you have questions about this cookie policy or how we use cookies, please reach out via the contact information provided in the app.
